Rich kicked off his career as a rock-n-roll roadie, operating lights for bands such as Iron Maiden and Def Leppard. From there he started SA's largest presentation firm, Missing Link and co-founded 21Tanks, SA's first perspective lab. Rich also co-founded HumanWrit.es, a social entrepreneurship venture and just had his book Legacide published.
Rich is a sought-after international speaker on leadership, service and innovation where he has presented around the world in countries like Canada, United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, Kenya and the US. In his home country of South Africa, Rich spends time addressing many of South Africa's top corporations, he guest lectures on courses for The Cape Graduate School of Business (GSB), and the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). Richard Mulholland has been a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) since 2011 and was the president of EO Johannesburg in 2016/2017.
Richard has published a book on innovation, guest-lectured at business schools on leadership, toured with Iron Maiden, and writes columns for Longevity and DestinyMan and even wrote a few for Playboy. When not kicking ass as a speaker/author/snowboarder, he pretends to run his presentation and strategy business Missing Link - when in truth it runs far better without him.
